In commemoration of Nelson Mandela as a towering global advocate for justice and equality, the Society for the Promotion of Human Rights (PROHAM), Malaysian CSO-SDG Alliance and KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific (KSI), supported by United Nations in Malaysia, will hold an online conversation on the occasion of Nelson Mandela Day.
The event will take place on Friday, 17th of July between 15:00 and 16:30 Malaysian time (9:00-10:30 CET). Registration for the event is free of charge.
This conversation will have two aims:
1. To reflect on Mandela’s struggle for democracy and peace in the context of the current struggle for sustainable development.
2. To call for a greater emphasis on our role as global citizens.
